Looking for other options to build your course and Studiocart checkout pages?

In today’s post, you’ll learn how to integrate Studiocart with Thrive Architect and Thrive Apprentice.

As you may know already, we released an integration with Thrive Theme’s latest tool, Thrive Automator. But what you may not know is how it opens the door to other alternatives for building your funnel pages and courses to sell with Studiocart.

If you haven’t heard of Thrive Themes, they have tools to help you design and build digital products, like Thrive Architect and Thrive Apprentice.

Thrive Architect is a simple drag and drop WordPress page builder. And like any page builder that supports shortcodes, you can use it with Studiocart to design your funnel pages.

Thrive Apprentice is a LMS plugin for building courses on your WordPress site.  And now that we have added an integration with Thrive Automator, you can easily create your courses with Thrive Apprentice and sell them with Studiocart.

Plus with the native Studiocart integration for creating users, you can automatically register new customers to your course in Thrive Apprentice.

To help you get started, the team over at Thrive Themes have put together a step by step tutorial. But before you jump over to their site, let’s take a closer look at the “create user” integration in Studiocart as that’s not covered in their tutorial.

How to Create Users for your Thrive Apprentice Products

Follow these steps if you want to automatically register customers in a course in Thrive Apprentice.

1. Setup the “Create User” Integration in your Product Settings

Navigate to the Integrations tab in your product settings and select “create user” from the service type dropdown. Set the trigger as “product purchased” and user role as “subscriber”.

2. (Optional) Add User Registration Fields to your Checkout Form

By default, your new users will be able to login with their email address and an auto-generated password. But if you want customers to choose their own login information, you can follow this additional step to add user registration fields into the checkout form.

Navigate to the Form Fields & Settings tab in the Product Settings and scroll down to the Custom Fields section to add a custom field.

To add a username field, add a Text field and turn on “username field for new accounts”.

For the password, simply add a Password field and Studiocart will automatically use it to create passwords.

3. Add New Customers to a Course in Thrive Apprentice

The final step is to set up an integration in Thrive Automator that will add the user to Thrive Apprentice. You’ll be able to learn more about this in Thrive Themes’ tutorial.
