How To Integrate Mailchimp With Studiocart
Log in to your Mailchimp account. Go to your Settings > Account. Then select Extras and from the dropdown menu select, API Keys. Skip the next step if you have previously created an API Key.
To create an API Key, select the Create A Key button at the bottom of the page. The page will reload displaying a new API Key.
Copy the API Key and head over to your WordPress Dashboard, select Studiocart > Settings. Select the Integrations tab and paste your Mailchimp API Key into the matching field box.
Scroll to the bottom of the Integrations window and select Save Settings. Your Mailchimp account is now linked to Studiocart.
From here you can set up a Mailchimp integration by going to a Studiocart product and selecting “Mailchimp” from the services menu in the Integrations tab. You’ll see a Mailchimp List dropdown with a list of all the email lists you previously created in Mailchimp. Choose the list you would like to link to this product.
If you have created Tags or Groups with this list, select the name from the Mailchimp Tags or Groups dropdown.
In the example below the following will occur from the settings chosen. When a product is purchased with any payment plan a contact is added to the Test list in Mailchimp.
You have the option to enable Required Consent. If turned on, only customers who have given consent will be added to the list. Note, you will also need to turn on the Opt-in Checkbox in the Form Fields tab for this feature to work.
Once you have finished filling out all the settings needed for your product, complete the order form by selecting Publish or Update.
