Studiocart allows you to integrate Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. This guide will walk you through the steps to enable Express Payments for Apple Pay and Google Pay and ensure they are visible in your Studiocart checkout.
Steps to Enable Express Payment in Studiocart and Stripe
1. Go to Studiocart > Settings and select Payment Methods.
2. Turn on the Express Payments option
3. After you enable Express Payment in Studiocart, log in to your Stripe account and go to Settings
4. Select Payment Methods:
5. Navigate to Payment method tabs:
6. Under the payment method tabs, scroll down to find Google Pay and Apple Pay and activate them:
7. That’s it!
Once activated, return to your Studiocart product. You should now see the Express Payment buttons.
How the Express Payment Buttons Appear
Default View: By default, the Express Payment option will display the Link button
Google Pay Detection: If the customer’s browser supports Google Pay and has it set up, the button will automatically change to Google Pay
Apple Pay Detection: If the customer is using Safari and has Apple Pay saved on their device, the button will update to Apple Pay.
Now your Studiocart checkout is ready to accept Express Payments, providing a seamless and convenient experience for your customers!
