Sharing a coupon
After creating a coupon, it can be made available to customers by copying the Coupon Code and sharing it in various ways: send it directly to users, advertise it via email, post it on social media, or promote it via banners or ads.
Applying a coupon via a URL
When you create a coupon, you can also create unique URLs that automatically apply a discount to a product. This feature works by adding the following to the product checkout url: “?coupon=” followed by the value entered in Coupon URL.
Using the example below, if the value entered in the Coupon URL settings is vip30. The coupon URL will be mywebsite.com/products/my-course/?coupon=vip30
This is the URL you will link to your promotional buttons and share with your customers via email or social media.

If you prefer to use something other than “coupon” in the URL, you can add it using the Coupon URL Parameter Name field located on the Studiocart > Settings page.
Hide the Coupon Field
You can opt to hide the coupon fields on the checkout page, which can sometimes help conversions as customers don’t leave your checkout to search for coupon codes.

Import Bulk Coupons
You can import a CSV file to generate bulk coupons. Simply match your CSV to the sample provided and upload the file. The coupons will be automatically created when the product is published or updated.
